When describing a company philosophy or mission statement, the use of an ampersand is sloppy and screams ‘short cuts’, which isn’t what you want to convey to customers… Here’s an example I came across today: ‘We embrace challenge & opportunity & pride ourselves on our attention to detail.‘ It’s that last bit that gets me…!
